What "near Nagasandra" actually means

Nagasandra Metro is on the Green Line in north-west Bengaluru, on the Tumkur Road side of the city. When a listing says "near Nagasandra", it can mean Nagasandra itself or any of the areas around it — HMT Layout, Peenya, 8th Mile or Jalahalli Cross — so check the actual walking distance to the station rather than trusting the area name.

Walk the route once, at the time you'd actually leave in the morning. A PG that is 500 m away on a map can be much further on foot if there's a main road or a railway line in between.

Infinity Space: a premium gents PG, 2.1 km from Nagasandra Metro

Infinity Space isn't in Nagasandra itself. We're on Andrahalli Main Road in HMT Layout, a 2.1 km walk from Nagasandra Metro (our nearest station) and 850 m — about a 10 minute walk — from Christ University Yeshwanthpur Campus. It's a gents-only PG for students and working men.

We're also not the cheapest option near Nagasandra, and we'd rather say so up front:

• Rent: ₹20,000 a month for a single room, ₹16,000 per person for double sharing. No triple or four-sharing rooms.
• Included in that: the furnished room with attached bathroom, electricity, meals, Wi-Fi, housekeeping and laundry.
• Food: four meals a day Monday to Friday, cooked on site — breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner. Breakfast and lunch on Saturday; full meals again on Sunday.
• In the building: a gym, pool table and table tennis, a shared lounge with TV, and a rooftop dining hall.
• Safety: biometric entry, CCTV and security staff on site.
• Rules: male visitors only, and an 11 pm curfew that can be extended with a parent's permission.
• Terms: a 12-month minimum stay. The deposit is two months' rent, adjusted against your April and May rent.
